Alignment

A moral or empathetic process which an interpreter may experience during an interpretation which makes him feel so identified with a patient that he ends up owning the problem the patient has as if it is the interpreters problem. The interpretation professionals must avoid this process while being empathetic but avoiding not to fall into the trap.
