Smartphone

A type of pocket computer that combines the features of a tablet with a mobile phone. Mobile computing platform, with a greater data storage capacity and to perform functions similar to that of a microcomputer equipped with greater connectivity than a conventional mobile phone. Other common features include multitasking, Internet access via Wifi, 3G or 4G networks, multimedia function (camera, audio and video player), calendar and office apps, contact management apps, GPS and some browsers, as well as the ability to read and read write documents in a variety of formats. Also known as the smartphone, it allows over-the-phone interpretation using VoIP thereby reducing costs.
