Waiting time

The amount of time taken since the caller places the call until the interpreter responds.

There are two most frequently used systems by remote interpretation companies for the assignment of interpreters.

1.- Rotating system where the calls switch from one interpreter to other based on a logarithm of priorities.

2.- Star system where the call goes to all the interpreters at the same time and the quickest one to answer will do the interpretation.
