Quality standard

A document agreed upon and approved by a recognised body (national or international) that provides for a common and repeated use. A number of rules, guidelines or features for quality tasks or their outcome for obtaining an optimal level of order within the context of quality.

In the field of interpretation, the UNE-EN ISO 20109:2017 standard establishes the working system, technical teams and all the provisions to standardise quality of interpretation.
